Poland: Horses as tourist attraction
Krakau Main square - I just arrived in the middle of this breathtaking city when I heard the sound of horses' hooves. That sound would regularly remind me to write this blogpost later.
Onto this day all kinds of animals are still openly used as slaves for the outcome of entertainment- and tourism business. These pictures are just one example. Using a horse to carry a carriage with a few tourists may sound quite innocent at first sight, but it's not. Horses are scared of loud noises, many people and in general chaos.
All day long they have to carry tourists around the city who want to go for a romantic trip, while it’s actually torture for them. The hooves cannot handle a concrete city ground, so every time again they get shock-waves into their legs. Let’s not forget about their beautiful dress code, would you like to wear it?
